OK,  you've sorted out the main things - venue, dates, dresses, flowers etc.  Now your
attention should turn towards the most important thing on a Bride's mind (apart from your
gorgeous Husband of course!)
How you are going to look on your wedding day.

I have designed the beauty countdown at the bottom of the page, so it can be printed out
and kept in your wedding file.  I have picked up lots of tips and tricks over the years and if
you follow the Beauty Countdown, you
will see results!

The best time to start your beauty regime is the day after your engagement!  But don’t panic
if you’ve only got a few weeks to your wedding.  It’s still possible to improve your skin, hair
and nails in that time.

If you've never had a professional beauty treatment before, now is the time to start. Apart
from being wonderfully indulgent and pampering, they can actually improve a wide range of
skin problems and make you look great. At Infinity we use a fantastic skin care range called
Priadara which is a professional salon range without the salon price tag!

Now you need to get your hair in top condition.  Our
hairdresser Crystal stresses that you must, must get regular
trims every 6-8 weeks.  Especially if you are trying to grow
your hair.  A deep conditioner applied every week will keep
your hair soft and silky.  If your hair is dry and coarse try old
fashioned olive oil.  Warm 2 tablespoons up and apply to
damp hair, wrap in a hot towel and leave on over night if
possible.  Shampoo out and style as usual.

If you colour your hair, make sure to get it done a week
before the wedding to allow the colour to settle.  Don't try a
drastic change in case you don't like it!  and definitely don't
try and change your hair colour at home.
OK, that’s the hair sorted!  Now for the
skin.  Remember skin changes, so you
could have dry flaky skin in the winter, but
more oily skin in the summer.  It depends
on so many factors that it’s usually best to
have a skin care analysis carried out by a
professional facial therapist.  Chantelle
provides FREE skincare analysis at her
studio and will recommend
products/services to correct and enhance
your skin.  You will enjoy a relaxing
cleanse tone and moisturise during this
half hour treatment.

Hands and nails are often overlooked in the run up to the
day, then panicked over at the last minute.  If you have a
job where it’s impossible to grow your nails, then
enhancements are the answer.  Available in temporary or
semi permanent they create a beautiful look for your
hands.  Semi permanent nails need to be applied by a
nail technician, but you can apply temporary nails
yourself.  Just practice well before the day!

If you are blessed with long natural nails, then I don’t see
the point of applying nail enhancements just to get the
look!  It is now possible to get a lovely glossy finish with
beautiful white tips from the revolutionary new gel system
from NSI.
Growing natural nails can be a problem for lots of people.  I often get asked by my clients  ‘how can I grow my nails?’ I always
advise regular manicures every week, whether at the salon or at home.  I have designed a programme to guarantee
nail growth
over 6 weeks It’s advisable to get a salon manicure at least once a month .  Take advantage of the specialist treatments available
for damaged nails.  Apply a good quality cuticle oil daily. Massaging this into the cuticles will encourage blood flow to the matrix
(where the nail cells are made) bringing essential nutrients.  Apply a nail hardener every other day and also coat the back of the
nail free edge (if you have any yet) after a week, remove the hardener and soak nails in warm almond oil, push back cuticles with
a covered orangewood stick and massage more cuticle oil in.  Leave this overnight to soak in and then repeat your routine.
Ensure your body is beautiful and beach
ready, by regularly exfoliating and
defuzzing! Waxing is the best way of
getting rid of unwanted hair, but it needs to
be done at least 3 times to really see the
benefit.

Choose a spray tan if you want a golden
glow, but I recommend a trial run before the
big day.  Why not be a bronzed beauty for
your Hen night ?

Make sure those toes are pristine too.  Try
our Hollywood Toes pedicure that lasts
upto 6 weeks!
Crystal recommends a salon
conditioning treatment every week
if your hair is damaged and brittle.
To check how strong your hair is, try
this test.  Take a strand of hair and
pull it, see how long is takes to
snap, and how far it stretches.  If it
snaps immediately and doesn't
stretch at all, your hair is chronically
brittle and needs immediate
attention!  Call Crystal 07817

treatment!!
